You guys are a hoot. Trump, like every Republican president, stimulated the economy with a credit card. While unemployment hit levels not seen since the Great Depression, real incomes went up because of those stimulus checks and unemployment stipends. Then there are those tariffs, which provide a temporary boost to GDP as companies inflate inventories ahead of the tariff and imports decrease. Kind of like the sugar high you get after eating a candy bar, and then comes the crash.

The truth, Obama did more for the economy while Trump was president than Trump did. The Affordable Care Act, what you guys like to call "Obamacare", continues to put money in people's pockets with premium subsidies and reduced health care inflation. It reduced "job-lock", increased entrepreneurship, and improved worker mobility. It enhanced productivity and improved financial stability in the face of illness. The reality, Covid without the ACA would have been far more devastating. So not only did Obama do more for the economy during Trump's tenure than Trump, he also did more to protect us from the damages of Covid than Trump. Obama left a legacy, Trump left a trainwreck, and history will bear that out.

And here we are. Biden is not even a year in and he has lifted three million kids out of poverty. His child tax credit is temporary, but if Congress has any sense they will make it permanent. It is the driving force behind the current economic increase. That single action has done more for the economy than anything Trump did in four years.

Something the Fake News and hater love to lookover is the accomplishments while President Trump was in office. One thing is for sure is that the Trump Economy is what's still keeping this country barely afloat to survive. The Corrupt Joe and his regime cannot credit themselves why this economy is still functioning. But now adding more unemployment by the day. If they don't keep the President Trump policies that kept the economy great, then expect for a recession 2.0 this time in 2 years.

Problem here is that Trump supporters said Trump's economy started before he was even president. Any time anyone said "Obama laid the groundwork" they were dismissed.

Also, pumping the economy is not good. The 2008 crash happened, in part, because of pumping the economy. The rich got richer (hence why the rich tell everyone to pump the economy) and the poor lost their homes.
