being immortalized as a "gun control" issue, as if that has ever solved a problem. The 'unauthorized car show' you are being presented with was actually a street takeover where hoodlums and gangs do burnouts and dough nuts in the middle of the street, and generally just take over the place. This seems to be condoned in some cities for some reason, probably the left leaning cultural local and state governments. The shooters here were all on a criminal career path, and not hampered by any court impositions, free range assholes. And yet there are some who would deny law abiding citizens the right and ability to defend themselves and their families from these cowboys.

One must consider the likelihood of government complicity with events like this. Allowing lawlessness has its benefits for government and the corrupt politicians involved. Many Americans happily give up their rights, granting government even more power and authority, for talk of safety.
