I missed the part in your tedious cutting and pasting about the brutality and suffering that the religious institutions imposed on humanity with their wars of conquest and aggression.

The Catholic church grudgingly paid millions in compensation to the thousands of boys abused by the sex trafficking syndicate run by the church leadership but there was hardly any acknowledgement of the damage they caused.

As usual in your cutting and pasting, you try to connect a few sociopaths of the 20th Century socialist / Communist regimes with atheism and then try to connect atheism with the killing performed by those sociopaths. That theme appears in most of your cutting and pasting.

What you fail to understand is that the abuses by Mao, Lenin, etc were in furtherance of their political ideology and a function of their mental disorder. On the other hand, the wars of conquest and aggression by Christianity were in furtherance of spreading the religion. South American Indian babies, heathens, were baptized by the Conquistadors and then had their heads smashed in. Lovely!

The Crusades were about conquest and capture of territory.

The U.S. has an amazingly advanced educational system. Right now there are 3 to 4 times as many foreign students studying in U.S. universities as there are American students enrolled abroad.

OK we can agree that U.S. universities are better than others so what about pre-university studies. The answer is seen in the fact that the U.S. has the highest percentage of kids going on to these same superior universities frrom highschool.

And it is more than that.

When the original "Montgomery GI Bill" was so detested by colleges and universities. Because it mandated that all institutions accept Veterans and charge them at the in-state tuition rates. They fought hard against that, as they charge out of state students over twice what they charge in-state students. And finally a few years ago they got it amended so that that only applied for the first three years.

There was actually a time not all that long ago that somebody could work part-time and still afford to live and pay for their education. Today, I largely see such as giant money sinks, that charge grossly outrageous rates simply because they know that students can get guaranteed loans. They are more predatory than a car salesman that knows the person driving off the lot in an overpriced car with an insane APR. They do not care, they got their money. The rest is not their problem.

SO it should be a surprise to nobody that they seek to get as many foreign students as they can. They get a buttload of money for accepting them.
