You sure are ignorant.. Natural gas from Russia is only a small part of the European market. Why should they buy US natural gas at twice the cost. This is a rational, practical decision.

It was cheaper until Biden made fracking illegal.

Fracking is used for OIL Wells NOT Tarsands..and it is not used much in the US becuase most US wells pump less than 50 barrels a day so it is cost prohibitive.

Who said anything about tar sands, numskull? Fracking is used for retriving natural gas, which is why gas was incredibly cheap until Herr Biden got into office. How much existing wells produce is irrelevant to whether fracking will increase our production. It already has.

The State Department is reportedly set to waive sanctions meant to stop the construction of the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline into Germany, underscoring the importance the Biden administration places on its relationship with Germany and the difficulties of being tougher on Russia.

The pipeline would allow fuel from Russia to bypass Ukraine for the first time and reach directly to Germany, thereby advancing Russia's goal of undermining and isolating Ukraine from Western Europe.
