Today....the perfect day for rebirth.
1.The name may be the same, but this current version is not the America as founded, nor as imagined. It was choked nearly to death, but we may just possibly be on the brink of rescue….by the Supreme Court, a Court that owes its own resuscitation to Donald Trump.
2. I suppose the real beginning was that of Western Civilization under the direction of the Judeo-Christian inspiration, specifically Genesis 1:26, which made clear the value of every single human life. Follow the thread from totalitarianism of Kings and Emperors, through the Magna Carta, to the Anglo-American Common Law tradition, equality before the law.
After the Bible, the second greatest document every composed is the Constitution.
America was America under the Constitution. But….that all ended during the 19th century, due to radicalism in academia: Progressives/Socialists.
3. There is nothing Progressives/Democrats oppose more than the system of government that the Founders envisioned. They hate checks and balances, separation of powers, individualism….and the restrictions of the Constitution. Their view is summarized in Obama’s claims of power: “I have a pen and a phone.” (I don' need no stinkin' Constitution!!!)
Democrat/Racist/Progressive Woodrow Wilson wrote in “The State,” 1889, that "Government does now whatever experience permits or the times demand." His writings attack the Constitution, and the ideas of natural and individual rights. Along with Frank J. Goodnow, they pioneered the concept of the ‘administrative state,’ which separated the administration of government from the limitations of constitutional government. 4. “A main problem was that Americans believed their rights "unalienable," to use the Declaration's term—i.e., they cannot be defined or taken away by government. This made it difficult for Progressives to put the government in charge of private property, and so Goodnow argued for a positive understanding of rights as granted by government itself:
The rights which [an individual] possesses are...conferred upon him, not by his Creator, but rather by the society to which he belongs. What they are is to be determined by the legislative authority in view of the needs of that society. Social expediency, rather than natural right, is thus to determine the sphere of individual freedom of action.”

5. But Americans had had enough of Progressives, and voted in Trump….and Trump made the Supreme Court an American agency once again.

While the court decision involved the Environmental Protection Agency and its efforts to restrain coal-fired electric plants, experts warned it could have vast impact on regulatory agencies.....
