Are today's Black athletes - let's say the ones who now affirm that, "Damn STRAIGHT! They are going to take a knee during the National Anthem" - aware that virtually ALL of the money that finds its way into their bank accounts is paid by WHITE PEOPLE(!)?

Who is sitting in the stands during NFL games? Who is in the Gawd-awfully-expensive boxes? Who is buying the "licenses" that entitle them to the privilege of buying season tickets, including any and all playoff games? White people. Who is paying for those endorsement deals? White people. Who is paying to advertise on telecasts of NFL/NBA games? Corporations, the management of which is 95% white. Who are the team owners? White people.

And NONE of these WHITE PEOPLE or white-controlled entities withhold their money because most of the players are Black, or because some of the players are socially obnoxious, of because a lot of them couldn't string seven words together to form a coherent sentence if you offered to pay them for it.

If white racism is endemic, why are all these millions and millions of white sports fans cheering for those Black players game after game, year after year?

A couple years ago, a self-described "Black" player started a demonstration that disparaged the National [fucking] Anthem, conspicuously insulted the entire mainly-white history of the country...and not a single Black player lost a dime. No pay cuts. No player cuts. The money just kept flowing to the pampered Black athletes.

And now they say they are ALL going to "take a knee" to fight racism. The irony is simply incredible.

Its less and less fun to watch sports anymore. People try to forget about their troubles. And they get to see more troubles. And on top of it they pay ridiculous prices to see it. Cable TV reform is needed. So we can get rid of channels we do not want.

Cable TV is a monopoly. There is already government involvement in it. What we are talking about is price gouging by forcing groups of stations together to get the one we want and forcing higher cost channels on basic tier that we may not want. The more savvy people have left cable using more modern ways. But there are people like myself who find it easier to change channels with a remote. The Sports Networks alone are 16 to 20 dollars for basic cable and everyone pays for it. Many do not watch sports and more are tired of the politics as well as the cost. Making them premium channels may cost over 40 dollars easily a month. Let those who want them pay for it. Same for all other channel clusters. At some point there will be a movement to change the cable TV industry. The politicians must be in their back pocket. Because they get a lot of complaints.

Dumbest thread ever. You can’t protest police brutality because the owner of your company is white?

IMO, the answer is that white people should not pay money to people who hate US.

Fuck them all.

I didn't know money was specially marked according to the 'race' of whoever paid or deposited it.

Some IPTV carriers are offering packages as low as $15 per month for all sports and premium channels, free PPV, and local channels in HD.

When you go to an NFL football game and 98% of the butts in the seats are Caucasian butts, and basically 100% of the butts in the most expensive seats and boxes are white butts, it is reasonable to conclude that the money coming in is "white" money.

If "white" people are mainly racist, why are they paying these exorbitant fees to see mainly Black guys play the game? Because of their winning personalities?
