McConnell was known as "Moscow Mitch" because he reversed sanctions on one of the Russian oligarchs who wanted to invest $50 million in a business in Kentucky, when Trump was in office. Moscow Mitch had no problem cosying up with Russians when Trump was holding hands with Putin and acting more like a Russian agent, than the American President.
