To strollingbones: I was in my pre-teens when I first saw Mae West movies in the early 1940s. I didn’t know the difference between a double entendre and a double decker sandwich, but she cracked me up. My favorite line: “Beulah, peel me a grape.” That would be a great title for the Bette Midler movie.
