It'd be interesting to have that argument, Obama or FDR.....

FDR introduced socialism on a large scale into this country, but almost all of these programs were temporary and disappeared when WW2 started. LBJ programs were permanent and Obama used them as a community agitator. Obama also is a firm believer in one world government (something Marx always advocated) and did not believe in American exceptionalism. Also Obama told small business entrepreneurial capitalist that they didn't create and build their business. FDR would not agree with LBJ creating permanent government programs as part of a nanny state, fought fascism and imperialism in their efforts to build a one world government. Roosevelt certainly was a believer in American exceptionalism and his use of government to regulate certain areas of the economy came from his idol worship of his slightly progressive cousin President Teddy Roosevelt.
