Consider also the current government-sponsored notion of “millions of green jobs” — a siren call that Obama and “green-jobs czar” Van Jones voiced to lift the economy and transition America over to sustainable, affordable energy. But tens of billions of wasted dollars later, electricity and gas prices are at near-record levels. The attempt to make subsidized green power competitive by cutting back on fossil-fuel exploration while trying to shut down coal plants and stop gas pipelines has only made energy prices climb and further burdened American households.

Meanwhile, hundreds of billions in green subsidies created neither much new energy nor many new jobs. But the massive handouts did provide a lot of public money in sweetheart deals to administration-friendly companies that either went broke, outsourced jobs to China, or hired the unemployed at insane costs, sometimes at $2 million per worker.

It really is beyond ridiculous to think that after sinking 4 trillion into the economy over the past 3 years that throwing another trillion or two would make a difference. For temporary jobs and programs that everyone knows will end in 6 months or a year and then we're back where we started with a larger debt.

We preach green jobs for America and buy million dollars buses for Canada, wonder what their gas mileage is considering that they were flown to the speech in a C-17. Obama doesn't ever see it as a problem or wait a minute maybe it is his speech writer who don't see it that way since he has never spoken from his heart since the teleprompter was invented.

It will never be enough for the Obama's of the world, for the Debbie Wasserman Schultz's of the world, for the Nancy Pelosi's of the world, for the Paul Krugmans of the world.

When the Bush tax cuts expire the left will push for returning the tax rate for the rich back to the rate it was before Reagan lowered it.They want more income to the government not to kill the debt but for spending.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz was asked what should the Federal Government do with the added revenue the ending of the Bush tax cuts would provide. She couldn't get the words out of her mouth fast enough. It was spending on this, spending on that....it was all about the spending. It always is with the Libs and it always will be.

I get a chill down my spine every time I hear the Lib media like MSNBC pushing for the President to come back in the next week or so and promise a huge spending bill to work on the Infrastructure...Wasn't the Stimulus and Obamacare enough to hurt the economy, and we have cap and tax to look forward to as well when energy costs will go up....

It's lessons already known for a good lot of us...lessons learned that understand that the O hoodwinked them...the rest are just hard headed or on the dole anyway with thier hands outstretched for more.
