“The Next Killer Flu — Can We Stop It”

This magazine cover from 2004 caught my attention, a few days ago, in a thrift store. It seemed somehow relevant that I should find this, as we are living through yet another “Killer Flu”, at least the second or third one since this magazine was published.

This article turns out to be about the H5N1 “Bird Flu”, that broke out in 2004, and is filled with pretty much the same hyperbole and fearmongering that we're seeing over the current #CoronaHoax2020 virus.
