The Neighbor's Cat

Last night there was this frantic yowling and scratching at the door. I opened it to see the huge black cat from next door screaming its head off. The cat immediately ran down the walkway. I followed hoping I could catch it. The cat ran to its own front door yelling its lungs out. It sat there howling and staring at me. I rang the doorbell. The woman opened the door and the cat zipped inside. She thanked me for bringing the cat home.

"I didn't bring your cat home. Your cat got me to ring the doorbell."

"Huh?"
