I looked over that article three times and found nothing regarding "evolution." This article is addressing corporate influence and how it can affect scientists decisions in relation to the environment and fisheries.
Corporations have nothing to do with anthropology and paleontology, unless a fossil is discovered on a company's grounds and the professors want to dig there. Museums of Natural History usually fund the work of Anthropologists, Paleontologists and Ichthyologists and they're not told to lie about their findings, only present their findings and come to a consensus on what is found.
