The most underrated cuisine is American

One has to remember that most of the food we think of as "Italian" is actually Italian American and thus falls under American Cuisine as well.

American Pizza is better, but other than that Authentic Italian is superior to American Italian

Cheeseburgers, meatloaf, chicken wings, pecan pie, and much more. Personally I think Italian is the best tasting, but it’s so healthy you can’t really eat it often.
You might grow arugula out of your ears. Fact.

Mountain oysters and collards(actually seed from Africa).
'gator tail
Swamp cabbage(micosukee/choctaw)
Armadillo(hopefully not killed by a Buick)
Porcupine
Rattlesnake

Ever notice how Americans dump kethcup on literally everything?

I don't like it myself, not really, but I see so many people dump it on everything they eat. Weird....

Had a young girl cook an authentic Italian meal for me once. It was like beef stew but made like a casserole with a pie crust like bread over the top.

Pot roast, Beef Stew, corn bread.

Pot Roast and Beef Stew are, in fact, English.
Well , Corn, corn bread, Turkey (,swamp cabbage aka heart of palm.)

Corn, as we know it today and not what was called corn in the 16th Century, is indigenous to North America. So, corn bread would be an American cuisine.
American it is !

If I had to eat one meal every night it would either be combination stir fried rice, pizza, or cheeseburgers and fries.
