The DPR rebels managed to capture the American mercenary who, according to the representative of the republic Alexander Zhuchkovsky, didn’t have time to evacuate from the city. The rebels have taken an American sniper, the U.S. citizen,in Debaltsevo today.

The DPR representative Denis Pushilin declared more than once that foreign troops are fighting on Ukrainian side including those from Poland, Croatia and Lithuania. He also noted that Kiev junta suppresses this fact in every possible way – the mercenaries on the territory of Ukraine is a criminal offense.
What will U.S. reply on this: he was a volunteer? He'll be giving evidences in the evening. It's the right time to adjudge the U.S military presence in Ukraine. Do you agree with me?

No conformation of this yet but, if it turns out to be true, some people have some explaining to do.
The first claims seem to be about him being a merc, but CIA is more likely.

Seems likely.

The US gov seems intent on creating a big war in Ukraine.

I doubt any honest explanation is forthcoming from our government, if US military personnel are involved. They and their media will cover it up as they have done numerous times in the past.

Ukraine is recognized as a legitimate government by the international community. They have a right to higher whoever they want to provide security or assist their military as paid contractors. The unrecognized governments in Crimea and eastern separatist are not recognized by anyone other than Russia as being legitimate. China would not even vote for their legitimacy at the UN. The Chechens and Russians who come to Ukraine to "volunteer" are the ones committing international crimes. If an American has been captured by an unrecognized group, he is being held by an entity with no more validity than a drug cartel or terrorist group.

TASS World - China against declaration of independence at referendums

BEIJING, November 21. /TASS/. China is against the declaration of independence by any ethnic groups through referendums, but this does not apply to Crimea, the acting director of the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s European-Central Asian Affairs department, Gui Congyou, told Russian media on Friday...
..China supports Russia’s stance on settling the crisis in Ukraine, Gui Congyou stressed.

How can a government that overthrew an elected government be considered legit?

Of course, in the day of this lying bunch of bastards, anything goes.

Even if you take the position that the elected Parliament did not follow the proper procedure for impeachment and the replacement of the President after he fled Ukraine and went to Russia, there have been internationally monitored elections since then and the current government is an elected government. The current government has been overwhelmingly supported by Ukrainian voters in three elections when elections for President and Parliament are counted.

Is this justification for the USA/NATO inspired coup de'tat that occurred prior to the current government taking control?

It was not a what you are claiming, but even if it was, the Ukrainian people overwhelmingly supported the impeachment and replacement of the President that fled to Russia rather than face prosecution for crimes. The elected Parliament replaced him with a new President. The President was than elected in a separate nationwide election. A new Parliament was also elected and it recognized the election of the President to be legal. You can repeat the Russian propaganda as much as you want, it still doesn't add up to Russia having the right to be in Ukraine.

So it is a justification then.

Why did they have to use violence to remove the former president?

The current government has been overwhelmingly supported by Ukrainian voters

Except the ones who were most likely to vote against it didn't get to vote.
I think you need to mention that point.

"They" didn't. The Parliament named a temporary President when Yanukovich fled to Russia.

It was a fair election observed and monitored. Who are you claiming did't get a chance to vote? Are you going to claim the separatist didn't have a chance to vote? The pro Kiev population in separatist areas were intimidated and afraid to vote. The pro separatist refused to participate and even if the vote in the separatist areas had occurred and gotten 100% vote against the Kiev government, the Kiev government in place today would have still won with overwhelming support.

America had nothing to do with it - honest.

So what, when did it become illegal to exert influence and pressure to foreign governments to make decisions beneficial to a country? The President that fled the Ukraine was being influenced by Russia in the form of cold hard cash bribes. Did the USA do something illegal by exerting influence on Ukraine politicians to make decisions beneficial to the USA?

The US arranged coup started a war that is killing a lot of people.
Please explain how that is beneficial to the country.
You may not have noticed he war because it isn't much being reported, but it's very real, and a lot of people are very dead.
This is a direct result of the US arranged coup against the democratically elected government.

It was a coup, pure and simple. Live by the sword, die by the sword. The voting was a farce anyway, only Ukrainian speakers could vote. The Russian speakers are in the East.
