The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009 film)

I had forgotten about this movie until I watched Jon Ronson on Joe Rogan Experience:



This movie had definite potential and has an all star cast, but it just didn't amount to much. It's not the worst movie I've ever seen (not even close), but it's no where near as good as I hoped it would be given the subject matter of things like MK Ultra and Psy Ops.

I also don't know who is to blame for this movie being bad. I don't feel like any one actor dropped the ball, but neither did any of the actors really stand out or shine except maybe in a hand full of moments.

The real story that this movie was based on is much more interesting and fascinating. Jon Ronson's appearance on Joe Rogan Experience is also much more interesting than the film, and he wrote the book that became the movie.

I have not watched the linked trailer. I should know better to judge a movie by it's title............, but........
