Crazy stuff. What's crazier is it's believable.
{ A tech executive pitches that nuclear weapons are now "obsolete": a $25 million order of "unstoppable" drones can kill half a city. As the video unfolds, the technology get re-purposed by unknown parties to assassinate political opponents, from sitting congressmen to student activists identified via their Facebook profiles. In one scene, the swarming drones coordinate with each other to gain entrance to a building: a larger drone blasts a hole in a wall to give access to smaller ones...}

no, i don't. this tech is just around the corner, and all the pieces for it are ready *today*.
the time to regulate it, domestically and internationally, is NOW.

The first hysteria of "killer robots" started in the 1930's, but really became a fad in the 1950's. This has remained a theme in science fiction, and more so in comic books, which by nature are designed for those of more limited intellectual capacity. Anime, low budget Japanese cartoons, especially is fond of the "killer robot" theme. But over all it's stale.
