The Lickspittle Lame Stream Media's obsession with Guns. Now they are comparing lawful US citizens to the rest of the world.

How the U.S. Compares to the World on Guns
n 2017, U.S. civilians held an average of 120.5 firearms per 100 people, the highest rate in the world by a factor of more than two, followed by Yemen (52.8), Montenegro (39.1), Serbia (39.1) and Uruguay (34.7), according to data from the Small Arms Survey, an independent research project located at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. In other words: The United States was the only country with more civilian-held guns than citizens.
And after many countries that ended up going full on Communist, because their citizens were disarmed, the United States still holds some resemblance of a Republic, even with the likes of Joe the crook Biden and his crime family.

My guess is, with the record gun sales in 2020 2021 and 2022, this rate has gone up.
Hopefully, anyway- right?

Update:
US population 2017: 325.1M
1.2 guns per person = 390.1M guns
US population 2023: 331.9M

2018-2022, the NICS ran 164,710,646 background checks; if half of these were for new firearms, thats 82,355,160 additional guns.
Lets round to 82,000,000 to reflect losses thru attrition.
That's 472,000,000 guns in the US, a rate of 1.42 guns per person.

Good to see those numbers go up!

Right. On par with Afghanistan and Yemen.
