Well, I'll push back on this, again: That's not what fascism is. You're talking about intolerance, maybe autocracy or authoritarianism. Fascism has a lot more to it, and comes only from the political right, but whatever. You like the word.

This is not the first time Sarah Silverman has criticized the left for being too judgy. She had a show a while ago, I forget the name, where she just spoke to people from the right wing; not necessarily about politics, but just about regular life things, and it was brilliant. The point she made was that the best way for people from the left (such as herself) to get through to people from the right is not to accuse and insult and attack and degrade and all that, but just to see them as humans and let them see you as the same. I wish more people would do that.

So yeah, I understand her saying that the close-mindedness and intolerance "doesn't feel very liberal" to her. That is an issue in the liberal world these days.
