Redress of grievances lies with the people and their elected representatives.

Judges have the job of interpreting the law.

Two very different functions. one is protected speech the other is not.
So is protesting judges that are elected to office is OK?

All Judges are APPOINTED. Some states allow a vote of confidence to allow them to remain on the bench. no judge is ever voted into their position. It is the duty of the elected officials to appoint them. If the judge is a criminal and the people do not hold confidence in them, they are removed and replaced. A vote of confidence is a way to allow the people to express what they think of these officials in their position.
