Last surviving Dambuster Johnny Johnson dies aged 101

Hard to believe the mission commander (Gibson) was only 24 years old.

There were lots of guys going into the military who lied about their age to get in.
They didn't ask for birth certs back then, and certainly didn't check for age accuracy.

Super awesome that he saw an entire decade. Also sad, as he also saw what he fought so hard for, literally go up in "peaceful protests".
