Interesting how Democrats didn't think an insurrection was going on at the time, until later when Democrats molded the story into being an insurrection. And yet, even as we speak, not one person has been charged with insurrection.

I think it needs further molding to finally congeal. Something like "The Trump Insurrection"

Granted it only shut down the Joint session of Congress where our elected reps were counting the EC votes for the next president, for only a few hours thanks to the swift action of the Capitol Police in getting the legislator out of harms way. It's obvious that it was a coordinated event planned at the highest level of the Administration and the leaders of the Neo-GOP.

Their lasting legacy will be their failed insurrection too.

It is rather funny how the left claimed that the security force in place at the time was so completely overwhelmed by the "insurrectionists" and yet with no help whatsoever, that same security force was able to quell the so called insurrection.

How exactly is this overthrow accomplished? Is the poster saying that the military and the Supreme Court and the governors of the states and the White House and the FBI and the CIA and the NSA and all other agencies and law enforcement agencies would start bowing down to a group of guys who entered the Capitol? Because unless that happens, no overthrow is even possible, let alone intended.

That is the insanity of such a statement. The only way to see the capitol protest as a threat is to assume that the military and the Supreme Court and the governors of the states and the White House and the FBI and the CIA and the NSA, etc. etc. are all going to start obeying them.

But of course,, they are not.

America is not some banana Republic were you can occupy the palace of Il Presidente and rule the country. A physical overthrow of America is not even possible. Thats why all the crying and peeing about it being the worst day ever is a total, 100% ignorant lie, meant to appeal to the most ignorant elements of society.

Why didn't Bernie call off his follower who shot up Republicans? Trump has absolutely no power over these people. Trump told them they should get vaccinated and they booed him. They were not marching to Trump's orders, therefore Trump had no power to stop them, just as some of his followers weren't going to get vaccinated just because he told them to. The left are fabricated the whole idea that Trump could have stopped them.

the intent was to get Pence to throw some of the election results back to the states. The delay means that Trump could have stayed in office past the end of his term. The Jan 6th incident was because Pence was following the law instead of Trump's crazy ideas.
