A trick beyond belief!

1.I must admit, Iā€™m stumped. How did they convince seemingly normal folks that they should support Fascism, Communism, Nazism, after the 20th century, and make them believe they stood for liberty, freedom and civil rights?

I understand the use of the externals, such as the government school system, the media, the talking heads in the entertainment industryā€¦.but what I donā€™t understand is how they have been able to deny individuals the ability to think and question, and you Democrat voters hopped-to, and agreed never to do either. Just follow
And none of you Liberals can be expected to explain, as your debating never gets beyond ā€˜is not, issssssss noootttttt!!!ā€™

2. And today, Francisco Franco, the personification of Fascismā€™s birthday is a good place to investigate, or, at least lay out the facts.

Francisco Franco, born December 4, 1892, El Ferrol, Spainā€”died November 20, 1975, Madrid), general and leader of the Nationalist forces that overthrew the Spanish democratic republic in the Spanish Civil War (1936ā€“39); thereafter he was the head of the government of Spain until 1973 and head of state until his death in 1975. 3. And Fascism is a good example, as it reveals the same pattern as the other totalitarian worldviews. Each of the movements adopted the same set of rites and symbols to express that ideal: crowds chanting en masse, the monumental architecture, the insistence on unquestioning belief in preposterous doctrines.

Sometime after the First World War, the Babylon-Armageddon made its way into political theory. Each version had a people of God, under attack. There was the proletariat for the Bolsheviks and Stalinists; the children of the Roman wolf for Mussoliniā€™s Fascists; the Warriors of Christ the King for Francoā€™s Phalange, and the Aryan race for the Nazis.

4. And the period of grace was going to be pure and perfect- cleansed of pollutants and abominations. Purity of unexploited labor (Bolsheviks and Stalinists); purity of Roman Grandeur (Fascists); the purity of Catholic virtue (Phalange); or the biological purity of Aryan blood (Nazis). And, always, to last for a thousand years: a perfect society- no flaws, no competition, no turmoil.

5. Here is where the consubstantiation with the Democrat/Progressive/Liberal movement joins, its nexus:
Of course, for all of the movements, it would be a one-party, unchallenged state, representing the final unity of mankind.(See Berman, ā€œTerror and Liberalismā€)

Look closely and you will see the same representation in the Democrat/Progressives dictatorship of today, where one either belongs to one of the authorized collectives, or one is a ā€˜deplorable,ā€™ an enemy.

Today we refer to 'Identity Politics,' but it is simply another term for collectivism, the repudiation of individualism. All mist toe the line, or be publicly pilloried.....or worse.

See any freedom and liberty there?

See any freedom and liberty there?
Does the Law and Order Party consider Liberty a part of their make up? Just asking.
And asking, too, for consideration; no harm no foul- laws meant to punish for perceived harm create what?

Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose, nothing ain't worth nothing, but, it's free-

free is unencumbered- it doesn't exist- never has.

Not saying your rant against collectivism is wrong- but, you might consider stopping while you're ahead.

Did you happen to note who won in the election in Namibia?

"Politician Named after Adolf Hitler Wins Election In Namibia

n Namibia, a certain politician named after the former German leader, Adolf Hitler has been elected as a local councilor for the governing Swapo party.

Adolf Hitler Uunona was eleceted with 85% of the votes in the regional vote to emerge the winner in Ompundja, a small town in the far north of the country."

The good news is that he has stated that he has no plans for world domination.

Phew!

The subtext of this very thread is that Leftism/Progressivism/Liberalism, is, in fact, a religion.

And the worship of the Risen Yahweh, Obama, is an excellent point.

BTW.....about your nonsense that both parties are the same.....Republicans don't worship their politicians.

The mob characteristic most gustily exhibited by liberals is the tendency to worship and idolize their political leaders. Le Bon explained that mobs can only grasp the ā€œvery simple and very exaggerated.ā€ Their chosen images must be absolute and uncompromisingā€¦ As Le Bon says, the ā€œprimitiveā€ black-and-white emotions of a crowd slip easily into ā€œinfatuation for an individual.ā€ Liberals worship so many political deities that they must refer to them by initials, just to save time- FDR, JFK, RFK, MLK, LBJ, and O.J. Ever hear a conservative get weepy about ā€œRWRā€ or refer to something as hokey as ā€œCamelotā€? Passionate adoration are the primitive emotions of a mob, sentiments generally associated with women, children, and savages, according to Le Bon. Check out some of her examplesā€¦.

See any freedom and liberty there?
I prefer Pinochet who was not a fascist, but acted in a timely fashion to prevent a Marxist take over in Chile.

And he gave free helicopter rides.

Pinochet himself expressed his project in government as a national rebirth inspired by Diego Portales, a figure of the early republic:[123]
[Democracy] will be born again purified from the vices and bad habits that ended up destroying our institutions.... [W]e are inspired in the Portalian spirit which has fused together the nation...
ā€”ā€‰Augusto Pinochet, 11 October 1973.
Lawyer Jaime GuzmƔn participated in the design of important speeches of Pinochet, and provided frequent political and doctrinal advice and consultancy.[124]
Jacobo Timerman has called the Chilean army under Pinochet "the last Prussian army in the world,"[125] suggesting a pre-Fascist origin to the model of Pinochet's military government.
Historian Alfredo Jocelyn-Holt has referred to Pinochet's figure as "totemic", and added that it serves as a scapegoat which attracts "all hate."[126] Gabriel Salazar, also a historian, has lamented the lack of an international condemnation of Pinochet in court, since, according to Salazar, that would have damaged his image "irreparably" and that of the judicial system of Chile [for the good] too.[126]
According to Pinochet, who was aware of his ancestry, he was taught the French language by an uncle, although he later forgot most of it. Pinochet admired Napoleon as the greatest among French and had a framed picture of him. Another French ruler he admired was Louis XIV.[127][C]
Pinochet's reputation led Peruvians in the 1990s to call Alberto Fujimori "chinochet" instead of his ordinary nickname "chino".[129] Chadian dictator HissĆØne HabrĆ©, a Cold War ally of the West, has been characterized as "Africa's Pinochet" for ordering the torture and mass killing of political opponents during his reign, and for the decades long campaign to see him convicted of crimes against humanity.[130] Images of Pinochet have been used in several Internet memes with the caption "Pinochet's Free Helicopter Rides", referencing death flights which saw political dissidents being thrown from helicopters over the Pacific or the Andes during Pinochet's rule. Variations of the internet meme have seen increased popularity with the rise of far-right and alt-right politics.

Iā€™m stumped. How did they convince seemingly normal folks that they should support Fascism, Communism, Nazism, after the 20th century, and make them believe they stood for liberty, freedom and civil rights?

After years of vilifying the opposition as Nazi this and Nazi that, the Wordsmiths over at Banana Republican headquarters convinced millions of ditto heads that their vitriolic hatred is justified. So they are willing to follow the Authoritarian means to subvert our Constitutional Democracy to install their dear leader, even if it means they are Fascist. They're so full of hate and rage that they just don't care anymore.

'Don't Let the Perfect Be the Enemy of the Good'
Evil is evil, no matter it's political stripe- lying to gain over others is immoral, therefore evil- lying can be and is used by omission of - the degree is immaterial-

And I don't recall Perfect being a topic of discussion- pointing out opposing views (or actions) while ignoring one's own inadequacies (less than perfect attributes) is playing to an audience- period.
Also, trying to put out the light of another doesn't make your's shine brighter-
Actions speak louder than words comes to mind- letting Individuals keep more of their allowance is hardly a concession or worthy action, especially in light of the fact that that allowance is degraded in purchasing power by arbitrary input into a computer to *control* your dollar value- also never ending wars is an action and "conservative" representatives are all about those, foreign and domestic- BOTH sides subscribe to Borrow to Spend to support the never ending wars (foreign and domestic)- and keep the MIC a heavy hitter, markedly important, to our economy with it's trickle down effect -

their vitriolic hatred is justified
Pretty powerful word, hatred- what do you have against republic vs democracy? Do you hate the republic?
I'm neither Republican nor Democrat- I despise both equally and I despise ignorance especially publicly displayed trying to look intelligent-
Can you point out, per the constitution, where Public Education is a granted authority? I mean, since you seem so knowledgeable about our constitutional democracy I was thinking maybe you had an inside track that could lead us in a direction you choose to show just how knowledgeable you are-

Collectivism. personified

The Freemasons have a long history of secrecy and influence, but today many of their traditions are a simple Google search away. Here, nearly 200 "high" Masons join President Herbert Hoover at the White House in May 1932.

Herbert Clark Hoover (August 10, 1874 ā€“ October 20, 1964) was an American politician, businessman, and engineer, who served as the 31st president of the United States from 1929 to 1933. A member of the Republican Party, he held office during the onset of the Great Depression.

Freemasons Say They're Needed Now More Than Ever. So Why Are Their Ranks Dwindling?

The challenges facing the organization have been decades in the making. While part of the problem is that Americans simply don't join clubs or fraternities as often as they used to, some critics argue that Masons have also struggled to keep up with the changing face of the nation. Many lodges still don't allow women to join, and others have struggled to attract members of color. In recent years, membership has dropped roughly 75% from a high of more than 4.1 million in 1959 ā€” when about 4.5% of all American men were members.

Not a single thing in your post is true.

In fact, it is substantiation of my Rule #2
Rule #2
To know what the Left is guilty of, just watch what they blame the other side of doing.

2a. If not for double standards Liberals would have no standards at all.

They have been driven mad by their hatred, proven by the fact that there is no rational defense of the Democrat agenda.
....full-blown anti-white racism, socialism, infanticide, opposition to free speech, substituting illegal alien voters for the American citizenry, support for rioters, arsonists, murderers, and anarchists, and anti-Semitismā€¦ the knuckle-dragging, atavistic pagan party.
Theyā€™ve been demonizing their enemies for so long, that theyā€™ve forgotten that they made it all up.

I yearn for an educated opponent.

Of course, that's not you.

The Democrat Party stands for the very same things that the Nazis did, .......Nazi stands for NationalSOCIALISTGermanWorkersParty......
....socialist......as are the Democrats.

....and their program was identical to yours and the Democrats.

Workers Welfare Programs:

In the best passage of Government largess, the Nazi regime fostered a purified liberal concept to enhance the living standard of German citizens across all segments of society. In order to stimulate the spirit of integrity, comradeship and happiness, Adolf Hitler fanned numerous programs and instituted strict rules for officials to carry them in eternal way.

a) Highly Subsidized International vacation trips.

b) Between 1933-1938 Strength through Joy (KDF) movement Organized 134,000 theater and concert events for 32 million people. 2 million people went on cruises and weekend trips and 11 million went on theater trips.

c) Nazis ensured that every citizen had a Radio.

d) 5 day week.

e) Free Public Health.

f) Trade Unions were banned. All workers had to join German labor Front. Strikes for higher wages were banned. People who refused to work were imprisoned. With fall in Inflation, purchasing power increased and wages actually fell.

g) Large factories had to provide rest areas, cafeterias, dressing rooms, even playing fields and swimming pools

h) They also banned "lock outs" for industries. No "reverse strikes"for them either.

Now....which quasi-American party put Americans in concentration camps?
