The GOP helped Isis become the Army the GOP wanted in Iraq.

How did Isis get so good so quick and Republicans spent a trillion in Iraq making the worst army in the world?
Because when Republicans disbanded the Iraq military, they left seasoned veterans out to dry. Well trained military. And those veterans kicked to the curb are motivated to get back at the US for what it did.

The military in Iraq isn't motivated. The GOP taught them if any problems come up the US will ride to the rescue. Obama hasn't been able to build on the foundation of corruption and incompetency the GOP left in place. What is there to do next?

Obama and liberals bragged about him ending a successful war in Iraq. It's Obama's mess now, and he is showing he doesn't have a clue.

"a trillion" sounds good, but in your zest to blame Republicans, you overstate much. Not sure if you were inferring that Iraqi military vets were joining ISIS "to bet back at the US," or in order to spite the US they are willing to give up their own country to terrorist - that'll fix that darned ol USA! Most of ISIS are foreign fighters, including some westerners, who apparently also have this spite gene, and I think ISIS is mostly from the Sunni side of the Islamist fence, who I guess may be willing to spite the US since their fall from power with the fall of Saddam. Yet, if we twist our head and squint our eyes to agree with you, don't you think it all the more illogical that bama pull our troops out of Iraq (which in itself was a like a SNL comedy routine, as he said at one point after pulling them out, "Promise made, Promise kept." Then later telling us that it wasn't his idea)? I think real leaders with great underlings can be successful even when left with a shaky foundation - isn't that the promise we vote for in every election?

How was it a successful war? And if it was a success, then how could it suddenly be a failure?

If you are in a foreign country and they tell you to leave, should you? That seems to be the question right wingers refuse to consider.

Barack Hussein Obama bragged he successfully ended the iraq war. Then against his advisors advice, cut and ran. Obama made all the decisions, so he owns it. You really need to listen to Obama, instead of getting all your knowledge from talking points.

If a foreign country tells you you to stop using drone attacks within its borders, should you? "American interests" is such an oft used and exaggerated little phrase, sort of like "hope and change." Little bama did not pull them out because he was asked to do so during some sit down over a couple of beers and ribs, and if you believe that, oh Lord. Do you remember when Bush was in Iraq and giving a press conference when he had to dodge a few shoes thrown at his head? I"m sure you have the CNN video bookmarked and remember it well. Do you know what he was doing there? I'm sure CNN will not fill you on that, so allow me. He was there signing an agreement that would withdraw all US troops from Iraq in December 2011. Facing re-election and needing a good rhythmic rhetorical line to feed the snippet heads, bama pulled them out 2 months earlier than what was called for in the Bush agreement...but once again, he later admitted it wasn't his idea.

Ask Obama and all the illegal aliens from Mexico taking up residence in the US.

ISIS wasn't the army the GOP needed... it's the one they deserve!
