The Good and Welfare clause

I've noticed that whenever leftist socialist communist news propaganda station that call itself MSNBC uses the constitution that use fragments of sentences that they can then take out of context and twist to their meaning which, BTW, comes right out of 1984.

I think if they look at the general welfare clause they will notice that it says the general welfare of the UNITED STATES which means the government because if it meant the welfare of the people then it would have said for the welfare of the people.

to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States

I believe this refers to the welfare of the United States which is the government and not the people specifically. That means taxes can be laid for its forgoing powers since the government is defined by those powers.

That isnt the "Good and welfare" clause. There is none. We have a representative that doesnt have a clue what the Constitution says.
