The Forgotten Part Of Normandy

Know history?

Ill Douche was the leader of the Italian Communists until 1914.

That is when he was excommunicated because even though he was a Communist, he was also a Nationalist. That is why after he broke away he largely created the European area concept of "National Socialism" (it is not unique to Europe, but he was the founder in that region of the world).

And it does not matter if his dad was rich, he was. Among other things he was the editor and majority owner of one of the largest newspapers in Italy. And he had various levels of ownership in at least 5 other newspapers.

He could not "rise in the Socialist Party" because he was kicked out of it. Because after WWI started, he came to realize that loyalty to ones own country was more important than to a uncaring "International Soviet". So he created a new Socialist Party, but not one bowing down to the "International Soviet", but to Italy itself.
Two Wings of the Same Vulture. Carry On, Carrion!

Just like the Leftists themselves, Preppylovers are covering up the heiristocratic influence on the Left. The Right says it's not relevant at all, while the Left admits it is, but says that the born-rich have more to lose under Socialism. Therefore, they make a greater sacrifice in advocating it than the proletariat and should be rewarded accordingly. It reminds me of the lame excuse GOPers gave when one of their Masters voted against Gayist marriage but was the one to give the "bride" away at his son's Gayist wedding.

In the Soviet Union, Communist Party membership was hereditary. When Reagan spoke to the Russian youth who were being honored as future leaders, they were all sons of Communist Party members.

That is not history or fact, but a political diatribe.

Now, care to discuss the actual issue based on the facts of the time, or simply vomiting up more political nonsense form the current age that has nothing to do with WWII at all?

In case you did not notice, this is the "History" section. Want to go on some kind of nonsensical rant on current politics, maybe that should be kept to the political areas of the board.

And giving a thumbs down to posts that are factually accurate but simply that you do not like is simply childish.

1900-1945: If the Aristocrats Couldn't Have Their Absolute Power Back, They'd Destroy Europe With World Wars

Go back to the crumbling castles of Europe where you belong.

You people ignore the obvious. France and Britains massive empires. The U.S. hoped that the French and British would combined be able to serve as a counterweight to the Soviets and spare the U.S. that burden. Unless the U.S. and allies invaded northern France and (ultimately) liberated Paris then France would not be a viable post war power.

Plus, only with lines of communication through France secured could viable occupation forces in Germany for the U.S. and British be sustained.
