• What [EU] Representative [Sven] Koopmans forgot to mention that it is the Palestinians who have built tens of thousands of illegal structures in the West Bank, especially in Area C, which, according to the Oslo Accords, is under full Israeli security and civilian jurisdiction.
• Koopmans also forgot to mention that the EU is helping the Palestinian Authority (PA) with the mass-scale illegal construction, paving the way for the de facto annexation of the territory.
• The EU does not interfere anyplace else on the planet other than Area C -- not for the Kurds, the Assyrians, the Yazidis, the Uyghurs, the Kashmiris, the Tibetans or the Greek Cypriots. The Palestinians continue to be the only group on the EU's list of people with whom to interfere. This inordinate attention appears to stem not so much from love for the Palestinians as from hatred for Israel.

Indeed. Why doesn’t the EU interfere with the illegal Turkish occupation of Cyprus?

Europe has been moving away from religion for some time and I imagine they view nations such as Israel, returned to the Jewish people based on Faith and history; with some disdain. Ironic since they have embraced Arab nations where Christians are often unfairly treated and persecuted while in Israel they live in peace.

It's interesting that after the 1967 war Europe started to shift their allegiance to Arab states. Prior to that war France in particular, was a major contributor to Israels air force, among other military contributions.

Russia has always been effective in misinformation in the M.E and to a lesser degree Europe. This has not helped matters for peace in the region.

Europe knows they can't just simply kill off all the Jews ... so they deported them ... I'm sorry, the Nazi Holocaust met with approval around Europe ... glad to be rid of both Jews and Slavs ...
