The earliest tunes you can remember. Anything with music in it is OK

How much is that doggie in the window? :banana:

I also loved the theme song to daniel boone (daniel boone was a man...yes a BIIIIIG man...with an eye like an eagle & a roar like a mighty oak treeeeeee).

And ofcourse...Rubber ducky!

Wow, I am really, really OLD! 1950, Patti Page, Tennessee Waltz
I remember one before that, a recording named "Du, Du, Du," Norwegian for You, You, You, vocal with an accordion. I remember the words in Norwegian but I don't remember why I went into the kitchen! :D

Not what you grew up with. But your earliest recollections.

My first vivid memory of a song was;

I was eight or nine and the waitress at a local burger joint got on me for playing it back to back on the Jukebox.

The greatest tunes on TV back when I was a kid were the commercial jingles, especially to sell smokes. Big Tobacco's problem was a lack of product differentiation between various brands, so new tremendous jingles had to be performed so people have a reason to buy Winstons instead of Marlboros or Newports.
