The difference between women and men

I watched a short video by (Dr) Jordan Petersen on the difference between women and men, in a nutshell. It struck me as quite profound.

Men are concerned with THINGS, and women are concerned with PEOPLE.

To illustrate, imagine a married couple with a 22 year old son who will celebrate his college graduation with a car trip across the country. As he prepares to leave, imagine what the father is telling him...

• Get the oil changed in the car,
• check your tire pressures every day,
• make sure your wipers are good and you have wiper fluid,
• don't lose track of your triple-A membership card...

Now imagine what the mother is telling him,

• Don't drive through the night,
• drive carefully,
• don't load up on junk food,
• if you get tired on the road, just pull over and take a nap...

It explains a lot. It explains why the genders choose different careers, do different things in their spare time, and so on. It explains political differences as well.
