Communism is how all families, tribes, religious groups, and any small groups have always lived, through out all times.
It is how Meerkats and all primates tend to live.

The fact when there are revolutions, that evil people get an opportunity to take over, has nothing to do with communism.
And much of what really happened we will never know due to all the propaganda.

With Russia, it is clear the Germans paid Lenin to go into Russia and take them out of WWI.
He was not a communist, but a paid agent.

Communism generally has a centrally-planned economy where the lowest members are provided with all the tools they need to do the jobs which are assigned to them. All members are provided with food and shelter and maintain a strict hierarchical command structure where they are expected to follow the orders of those above them in the chain of command.

Sounds a lot like every military I know of, including ours so I guess in some situations it is the optimal organization.

There is the theory of Marxism or communism and then there is the 'reality' it has never worked anywhere or at any time at the state level.

You can find elements of it in many places; even in the first Christian Church.

The biggest problem with communism is that it goes against human nature.

Name me one state under socialism/marxism/communism that has ever succeeded?

There is not now nor has there ever been any economic system that is or was perfect.

However, even with all its faults capitalism has worked better for most people than any other economic system.
