The Culture of Defamation?

As many people might have noticed, internet defamation has become the retaliation of choice for many spoiled individuals. If your boss won't give you a raise, start a myspace page claiming that the boss is skimming profits and stiffing workers. If your teacher gives you a bad grade, log onto a forum and accuse him of favoritism, sexism, or racism. If that cute girl won't go out for coffee with you, tell everyone on facebook that she's a tramp and has syphilis. The list goes on and on. Have we gotten so used to internet anonymity that we feel we can use it as a tool of defamation to get revenge on every percieved slight? Mike Adams weighs in.

Well the internet does make it easier to BS and to say things out of context. But the internet sure wasn't the starter of all this stuff because if you take a story cut in half and then 1/4 then you'll have the truth.
