the conservative case to Dump Trump..."The Judas Savior" & elect DeSantis as president in 2024

I will gladly vote for Trump but would prefer DeSantis with a solid running mate like Noem
or Rand Paul.
Trump would be an ideal Secretary of State or head of the DOJ, if he would accept the position.

I won't run Trump down but he did have his weak spots. But who doesn't?

I cannot vote for a democrat, not after seeing what their agenda is. Just can't do it, even though I really don't like Trump I would vote for him no matter who the democrat opponent is. I'd rather see a different repub than Trump, but I believe the Dems are just too scary. Trump may be a poor choice, but whatever he does can be changed or reversed by the next person in the WH. Not so if the next prez is a democrat and they get the votes in Congress to do as they please. I doubt the country can recover from that, a lot of their plans are not reversible, once the filibuster is gone it ain't coming back. If they pack the Supreme Court it's not going to be reverted back to 9. Once they admit DC and PR as new states, that cannot be undone. Once they raise the MW to $15, that can't be undone. Most of the GND is not reversible either. Much of what they want to do would be disastrous IMHO.

the first step to letting go of the man is realizing that the man isn’t all he’s cracked up to be. That “this is what they took from us” meme is deadly. Trump was a windbag who never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Yes, everyone was against him. But also yes, he was ineffectual and malleable and the ones who “took him down” were not NYT editors or FBI spooks but rather the people he chose to surround himself with in his inner circle.

A not-insubstantial percentage of Republicans believed that Obama “stole” the 2008 election (just as a huge percentage of Democrats believe that Bush “stole” 2000 and Trump “stole” 2016). The loons, the stupid, and the gullible are always there; it just comes down to how much a politician wants to engage them.

when white 2016 voters abandoned Trump in 2020 (a simple truth backed up by all available data) and he lost to a fossilized resident of a dementia ward’s terminal wing, Trump reverted back to 2011: Activate the loons! Except this time, the loons listened, because Trump, by his “miraculous” victory in 2016 (not miraculous at all—he just appealed to white working-class voters with an issue they cared about), had now developed a cult-like following.

So when he called up the crazies, the crazies answered. Krakens! Execute Pence! Venezuelan ballot-stealing robots! Don’t vote in Georgia—it’s rigged! And hey—let’s march on the Capitol with absolutely no endgame!

Trump is a bell curve. Appealing to birthers in 2011 (losing). Appealing to the heart of foundational America in 2016 (winning). And then appealing to retards again in 2021 (losing and salting the earth for all who come after).

This is the bitter legacy of the Judas Savior. The guy who was supposed to be 'the one' who would deliver you from evil, but who, in the end, delivered evil right to your front door

Let go of the man. Realize that you’re not actually pining for a man but for a lost opportunity, and then realize that it was the man who blew the opportunity.

Losing America would be a thing. So lose Trump, and lose the fanboys, before we lose something actually irreplaceable.

More TDS morons telling us we need to give up on President Trump.
Fuck off, commies.

The DemNazis are in a full cold sweat gripped with fear. You 666 DemNazi Turds are starting your propaganda a little early, don't you think?

I didn’t even read the reasons you wrote, but I agree. Desantis actually did everything trump tweeted about. He also hasn’t been blindsided by the slowest moving punch that was 2020, big tech, COVID, and the election.

anyone but Trump!

Pics you probably haven’t seen before: Governor DeSantis in his DCU’s and in his Officer Service Dress Whites. Florida ain’t turning blue anytime soon with this man at the helm!

Trump single-handedly built up the GOP. he could just as easily burn it all down if he doesn't get his way

Why is it that progs are the only people talking about dumping Trump?
