I agree. Loophole is right.

I don't think the FF wrote the Constitution with the idea that the people could be supported with the public largess. They were all pretty self sufficient back then. They also didn't want the Govt to have too much power.

They were all smart dudes and crafted a pretty nifty document to try to circumvent that.

That being said its kiinda funny that we now have an all powerfull Govt. One that institutes entitlements and has no problem distributing the public largesse anyway it sees fit.

Don't think the FF would approve of our Govt. NO siree. I don't think they would approve at all. .
