The Cleveland Indians were a charter member of the American League in 1901... 119 years ago. The Washington Redskins have existed for 83 years. These are not here today, gone tomorrow organizations.

They have traditions, history and legacy... but I don’t expect our young skulls full of mush to understand such things as they are no longer taught, never mind embraced. How much they will find they have lost someday soon.
