I did just answer. Those are areas of my experience and knowledge base so I focus in them. Why should I post about things I don't know or don't care about?

For some, it was pretty obvious in 2016 that this is what he'd be. Certainly by 2024 it was clearer than day.

To be honest, I've never liked Trump on a personal level. His complete lack of humility; constant boasting and patting himself on the back; his push for Americans to take an experimental vaccine; his call for "red flag laws" and banning bump stocks; and, frankly, his voice were all turn offs for me. So admittedly, I only sided with him because 1) he was the "lesser of two evils," and 2) I thought that his business prowess might help America economically. I also thought that he may very well "drain the swamp."

I was clearly wrong. I should have trusted my deeper instincts but I figured "what the hell," -- I may as well give him my full support and hope for the best. I'm not generally that gullible but I let my guard down and caved to all the hype. But things wouldn't have been any better had a Clinton or Harris been elected. They all play a major role in Swamp Politics.

And the problem is that with the FPTP system, you don't have a choice.

People voted AGAINST him, or AGAINST Harris. Rather than for either of them, and that probably made up most of the votes.

Had I known then what I know now about Trump ... I wouldn't have given him an iota or modicum of my attention. We live and learn. But we all know that the most recent Presidents are nothing more than figure heads. They're puppets on a string and answer to a higher power that isn't God.

I do not know interfaith so if I used it, it wasn't recently and I haven't been on the cafe in a while. But all this does is show that I am consistent in what I am informed on.
