They are smothered with censorship because there are billions of dollars involved, and the nuclear industry wants to hush it up as they did Chernobyl.

As for Chernobyl, we will never know the true death toll, as the USSR and the Nuclear industry worked together to cover it up and shred all the evidence. The man who wrote the final report was threatened with his life, and denounced the cover up right to his death.
