The best thing libertarians can do right now is support Republicans

I still disagree with the OP. Libertarians need to more stingy with their votes and refuse to support either party unless that actually protect liberty. Currently, both parties do the opposite.

Go for a walk in the evening now in a big blue city and tell me the parties are the same

Six of the last seven elections I didn't vote Republican because I argued that while they talk differently, in the end the parties do the same thing. The difference between us is that you stopped paying attention and I didn't.

The left has so far diverged that they are significantly different. Just look at the debate over the stimulus bill. You can't look at that with intellectual honesty and say the parties are now fighting for the same thing. There is no stimulus in the $3.5T Democrat bill at all. Just payoffs to blue state and local governments, unions and other leftist cronies, more big government and disincentives to work.

Your policies are not Democrat, but your emotional attachment is

Libertarians need to grow up and seek treatment for their Adult Defiance Disorder.

LOL.

Joe: I want free shit, you don't want to give it to me, you have to grow the hell up ...

Because Libertarians/Republicans will send in the cops to smash heads if given the opportunity? That's not very libertarian.

Naw, the difference is it took you longer to sell out. Because Trump is no Libertarian, he's a fascist, and you're fine with that.

No, the real problem is occasionally, the Republicans have to come down to earth. Stimulus isn't the problem here, it's people's ability to pay rent and buy groceries when they CAN'T work.

The problem with the last Stimulus Bill was that it paid a lot of money to big corporations that had record profits and maybe a pittance to working people on the assumption we'd get this under control and everyone would go back to work in June. Instead, we are seeing the opposite. More people getting laid off as the rot spreads to manufacturing and government services...

The thread isn't about your delusions. We're talking about real life libertarians. They're not out to get you Joe.

Exactly. It's not. A "Libertarian" who supports authoritarians isn't.

Trump is no Libertarian, he's a fascist, and you're fine with that.

You got another one right. That's two in a row! You're on a roll.

They're not the same. But they're both bad. Not wasting a vote on either.

Wow, you can read minds??? That's so cool. I'm thinking of a number between one and a million. What is it???? You're going to nail this one, aren't you???

LOL.

Joe: I want free shit, you don't want to give it to me, you have to grow the hell up ...

Kaz: I want to live in a civilized society, but I don't want to pay taxes or follow rules. Waaaaahhhhhhh...

Again, a number between one and a million. Prove you can read minds.

BTW, I'm not an anarchist, jackass. I don't oppose taxes. I only want to limit them. You're a fucking moron.

Hey, I just realized, you actually can't read minds like you said you could ....

Actually, they kind of are. Would there even be a "Libertarian" movement without the Koch Brothers, guys who want to pollute our air and water for a quick buck, out there being a bunch of sugar daddies.

The good thing about David Koch dying? Charles Koch will know how fucking hated he will be when he dies.

Okay, guy, I'll even take you at your word for that. So given that we can't pay our bills now, because the rich don't pay their fair share, what exactly are you going to cut to "limit" taxes?

The four biggest ticket items on our Federal Budget are Social Security, Medicare, Defense and Interest on the Debt. Those four things are not going away.

Blah, blah, more Marxist rhetoric.

So Joe. Given that you unabashedly advocate the principles in the Communist Manifesto as well as the rhetoric. Why does the term Marxist bother you so much? I don't get it

because it's not accurate... Marxism holds that the means of production should be controlled by the people.

I do think businesses should be regulated so they don't cheat their customers, abuse their employees or ruin the environment, but I also think most businesses should be privately owned.

And they should pay their fair share in taxes and not get truckloads of Corporate Welfare.

Trump has the Libertarian vote locked up. His fiscal policies are sound, just like when he was one of the most successful businessmen in New York. Trump is the law and order candidate, bringing the BLM riots to an end. Trump is leading the economic recovery that will bring us back where Wall Street should be. Trump is bring us back to normal by opening our schools, against the wishes of the liberals who wanted to continue the lockdown.

I don't think it's "most", but there are a lot of Republicans who use the term "libertarian" because it sounds better than "Trump supporter". But like I said elsewhere, libertarians who vote Republican are kidding themselves - actively working against their supposed values.
And according to you, what are Libertarian values?

The means of production is already controlled by the people. Marxist fantasies notwithstanding, socialists want the means of production controlled by the state.

.
The Wikipedia definition of a Libertarian looks inaccurate to me.
A Libertarian with his head on straight should vote for Trump.
