Richard Burton in Whose Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? - 1966

I don't know about it being the best in history, but Dakota Fanning's portrayal of Cherie Currie in "The Runaway's" was uncanny, especially when considering that she was only 15 years old at the time.

Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter

Some say it was just Liz and Dick in real life (in Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf?)

Best? Is there a single best? Really?

Have you seen Owen Wilson in "Midnight in Paris", Leo DeCaprio in "Catch Me If You Can"? How is there a Best?
