The average IQ of Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Tennessee, and many other states is higher than that of California

the Southern states are supposed to be comprised of low-IQ idiots who shove crayons up their noses and have sex with their sisters. With the exception of Mississippi and Louisiana, that isn't really true.
Your fine little map pretty much confirms that the North is why more intelligent than the South.

According to the left, the Southern states are supposed to be comprised of low-IQ idiots who shove crayons up their noses and have sex with their sisters. With the exception of Mississippi and Louisiana, that isn't really true. At 95.5, California's average intelligence rating ranks as the third-lowest state.

How well does your state fare?

Mapping Average IQ Score By State

"Intelligence Quotient (IQ) scores are a measure used to assess human intelligence through standardized tests. These scores compare a person’s cognitive abilities to the average population, with the average score typically falling around 100.

To see how IQ varies across the United States, Visual Capitalist's Marcus Lu visualized data from a 2022 report published in the National Library of Medicine (Journal of Intelligence) by Bryan J. Pesta titled Updated IQ and Well-Being Scores for the 50 U.S. States."

Even if true, there is more to consider:

Emotional intelligence (EQ) and intelligence quotient (IQ) are both important for success, but they measure different abilities:
  • IQ
A measure of a person's ability to use logic and information to answer questions and solve problems. IQ tests measure memory, vocabulary, and visual motor skills. IQ is important for academic and technical expertise.
  • EQ
A measure of a person's ability to perceive, interpret, and use emotions to communicate and relate to others. EQ tests measure a person's ability to recognize and manage their own emotions and the emotions of others. EQ is important for interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and empathy.
Its pretty clear that conservative lack emotional intelligence

Here are some other ways IQ and EQ differ:

    • Development
IQ peaks at age 17 and remains constant, while EQ can be improved throughout life.

    • Assessment
IQ tests are standardized and use a formula to calculate scores, while EQ tests can be self-report tests or involve an observer.

    • Relevance
EQ may be more relevant for people in leadership roles, while IQ may be more relevant for academic and technical roles.

    • Benefits
People with high EQ may have better general health, quality of life, and relationship quality.
Understanding both IQ and EQ can help people apply these skills effectively.

I noticed that too. I also noticed that the farther you get from the southern border, the higher the numbers are.

That should say something.
Another observation could be, the filtering up from the Southern border lowers the score, and the filtering down from Canada increases the score. So the American score is located in the middle 🤔

Actually the national average of the Canadian IQ is only one point higher than that of the US.

Mexico's is 88, Venezuela's is 84, El Salvador is at 80, and Haiti isn't even on the list.

Haiti's is a disputed 67

I'm surprised California's was so high, I would have guessed low 80's.

Is there a chart of the IQ score between Blue and Red states?
