I noticed that too. I also noticed that the farther you get from the southern border, the higher the numbers are.

That should say something.

Another observation could be, the filtering up from the Southern border lowers the score, and the filtering down from Canada increases the score. So the American score is located in the middle

Actually the national average of the Canadian IQ is only one point higher than that of the US.
