The Amazing Randi is gone now, but his life of bullshit busting was an eye opener to me when I was a teen back in the 70's. I couldn't believe it! All the things I saw with my own eyes.....the lies, the cheats, the frauds.........this man was actually OUT THERE PROVING TO THE WORLD that religion, magic, psychics, and psychic healers are all bullshit!

I think Randi was the inspiration for Penn and Tellers BULLSHIT! series, as they continued with the unmasking of many of the lies and bullshit we are drowned in by the media, charlatans, liars, cheats, and frauds every single day.

1. Yes, he does deserve credit for much of the work that he did.

2. But, I think, that even he would graciously refuse the honor of being named the final and last word on the paranormal.

3. Because of a tragic event in my personal life, I have been forced to think more deeply about these paranormal matters.
