Damn, Synth! Who would have guessed? Larry Carlton is my favorite guitarist and you can't be all bad if you know who he is. I might have to reevaluate my opinion of you. All this time I thought you were just a dumb ******* liberal, now I know there's hope for you. All we have to do is make you see the light.
 
I've been a Larry Carlton fanatic since 1978. He's the world's best guitarist.

I'm kinda torn. I love Larry's work with Steely Dan but I'm not a huge fan of them. I like some songs but would never buy one of their CDs.

The OP is my favorite Larry song, with this one a close second. It just builds and builds with fantastic soloing at the end:
