The 100 Year War on Palestine

Israel heads further right: 30-40 percent of young support fascistic Jewish party | MR Online

"The rightwing tilt of Israeli society was captured in a discussion last week between Ori Nir of Americans for Peace Now and former Haaretz Washington reporter Chemi Shalev. (Youtube link).

"The two described all the 'energy' that surrounds Itamar Ben-Gvir, the head of Otzma Yehudit, the Jewish Power party–a racist Kahanist faction that had been barred from the Knesset in previous decades.
200422_JERUSALEM_JB_00-16-770x515-1.jpeg

"Ben-Gvir’s party is now part of the Religious Zionism bloc of seven seats in the parliament, and politically loyal to Netanyahu.

"Polls say it could almost double in size in the next election.

"Nir said he witnessed Religious Zionism’s popularity on a visit recently.

"'I have to tell you, during those three weeks, the only billboards and flyers that I’ve seen on the street in Jerusalem, were for the extremist Kahanist Party, the religious Zionism party. Now, this is Jerusalem granted, I know that Jerusalem doesn’t reflect the overall political sentiments in Israel. But still, it’s the largest city in Israel.'
"Shalev agreed that Religious Zionism is gaining among young people."

If it's true there were ten times as many non-Jews as Jews living in Palestine when the Zionist movement began and the ratio had shrunk to 2:1 when Israel declared "independence" and there are roughly equal numbers of Jews and non-Jews in Palestine today, then perhaps the recent colonizers are aware they are being watched?

Is it true that the Jews in black helicopters are circling overhead?

"Three Jewish passengers, one impersonating a transport ministry official, have forced dozens of Palestinians off a bus heading to the occupied West Bank, according to Haaretz.

"The incident happened last Thursday, when about 50 Palestinians workers left the bus in the city of Bnei Brak, after the Jewish passengers demanded that the driver tell them to disembark."

I tend to get insults instead of facts refuted as well.

I decided to fact check your source. It seems pretty good, not excellent but definitely far more reliable than often produced, though left wing/liberal. Unfortunately this review speaks about similar groups as a whole and in that the fact check itself is not specifically on MR Online However here is what it says just on MR Online

  • Overall, we rate the Monthly Review Left Biased based on editorial positions that align with the socialist left. We also rate them High for factual reporting due to strong sourcing and a clean fact check record.

The story was not a surprise. Israel has been moving to the far right for a long time now which I believe comes from a variety of reasons - not having regular communications with people from the West Bank and Gaza which makes it easier for them to accept the subhuman way they are treated. Not being worried about them being shot and not being concerned about the army not letting medics in for a long time which often results in death due to delayed treatment. Lack of empathy when large numbers of children are killed - 15 last week and the willingness to believe their countries lies on the situation. Due to ill health I have not been keeping up on this as much as I would have liked but it appears that Hamas has got the message do not reply. Israel used to attack and kill them until they responded and then told the world they were only killing the civilians of Gaza in self defence. Last week they went even further and said they were only killing people so that they would not be able to kill Israelis and then so that they could not respond to Israeli killings and even pretending the people were killed by their own....and the people of Israel believe this. They genuinely believe it. That is why they allow this to happen.

Then there is Trump's American way still holding sway despite it having a negative view of Israel seen by many Democrats. The Israeli people see the US accepting and even applauding them acting in a fascist way. Hence they believe it is alright and their politicians are not lying their heads off.

Those who do not go with this are seen as traitors. We could see how fascism was being easily assimilated into the US during the Trump Admin and one of the key elements of fascism is getting people to stop accepting the truth. That being said there are still Israelis who work for justice though how many of them still live in Israel is another question but there are plenty of Jews who work for Justice for the Palestinians and have no intention of letting go of this. It is an Israeli not Jewish thing.

If it's true that you copy and paste from radical leftist web blogs, it's not unfair to point that out.

From the about section of your cut and pasta source:

Monthly Review can show an impressive record of committed left publishing. Through the thick and thin of American politics it has continued to carry the standard of thoughtful and critical radicalism. International in scope, it has combined the best of the old left with creative insights of new social movements.”

—Sheila Rowbotham

If it's true roughly equal percentages of Jews feel the same way about a two-state solution and there are about equal numbers of Jews and non-Jews living in Palestine, what is the most logical democratic solution to the status quo?
If it's true that you're befuddled about totalitarian / authoritarian islamism, why would anyone expect islamic terrorists to respect any measure of democratic solutions?

Islamic ideology is one of fascism where moslems presume an entitlement of superiority over the kuffar.

Shirley, you know this from the Koran lessons at your madrassah

There seems to have been a definite uptick in racist treatment of non-Jews in Israel since the Soviet Union fell almost two generations ago:

"Between 1989 and 2006, about 1.6 million Soviet Jews and their non-Jewish spouses and their relatives, as defined by the Law of Return, emigrated from the former Soviet Union.[1]

"About 979,000, or 61%, migrated to Israel.

"Another 325,000 migrated to the United States, and 219,000 migrated to Germany."

Many of these migrants to Israel knew what it felt like to be treated as second-class citizens and worse in their former homes. After moving to Israel they quickly discovered they possessed many of the same powers their oppressors wielded in the USSR.

Their children and grandchildren are showing signs of being even less tolerant than previous generations.

Trump is the latest symptom in a long line of US fascism. One of the best examples (still widely unknown) happened in 1934 during the Great Republican Depression:

Business Plot - Wikipedia.

"The Business Plot (also called the Wall Street Putsch[1] and The White House Putsch) was an alleged political conspiracy in 1933 in the United States to overthrow the government of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and install a dictator."

Point out any inaccuracies in the following claim published in MR Online:

Palestinian workers forced off Israeli bus to make way for Jewish passengers | MR Online

"The incident happened last Thursday, when about 50 Palestinians workers left the bus in the city of Bnei Brak, after the Jewish passengers demanded that the driver tell them to disembark.

"Tnufa Transportation Solutions, the bus owner, operates routes between Tel Aviv and the West Bank settlement of Ariel, taking Palestinian workers with work permits from Israel back to the occupied West Bank.

"After a few buses went by and didn’t stop–because bus 288 is reserved for Jews only–one that was empty of Jews stopped for us and we got on,” one of the Palestinian passengers told Haaretz.
Three Jews boarded in Bnei Brak and demanded that all the Arabs be taken off.
"The driver made a call to his superiors and afterwards asked the Palestinians to alight."

If MR Online mentioned Rosa Parks, would you make the connection?
