According to the governor of Texas Biden has threatened to sue over this bill and that wouldn't be a surprise considering Biden threatens to sue GOP controlled states all the time.

So to recap, Texas does Bidens job and Biden throws a hissy fit over it.

How are they gonna spend all that money on a wall? They can't even keep the lights on at this point.

Texas will need to spew put a small percentage of it to survive. There is no way 90 percent of the macho in land will kneel to ten per cent of the non macho areas in voting.

This is the same state that had the lights go out when it was mildly cold last winter? Seems like a strange expenditure when you can't keep the lights on.

It looks like Paxton and Texans are not willing to let the elitist turn Texas into California's shithole areas.

Texas has a hundreds of thousands of retirees who Winter in Texas and many of those go to the Rio Grande valley. Texas enjoys the revenue those retirees being into the state. Many small businesses and Texas citizens depend on that Winter income from the money those retirees bring into their communities. "Winter Texan households in the Valley, this study estimates that Winter Texans spent about $528 million, in nominal dollars, while in the Valley in 2017-2018." https://www.utrgv.edu/tourism/_files/documents/reports/winter texan survey report 2017-18.pdf

We noticed when we were there for a Winter that they have very well stocked pawnshops full of things one would steal from a travelers pickup. We also had an experience with an illegal who thought he was going to break into our pickup but changed his mind when the two hundred pound dog was awakened at his presence and woofed at him.
