Country music star Willie Nelson has headlined the close of a four-day march in Texas in support of voting rights.
Nelson played a short set to close out the rally staged in Austin to close out the rally, which featured the star's 2018 song, "Vote 'Em Out."

"It is important that we ensure the right for EVERY American to vote and vote safely," Nelson said in a statement through the Poor People's Campaign when he announced his participation in the rally in support of Democratic state legislators who bolted for Washington two weeks ago to block GOP-backed voting restrictions.

"Laws making it more difficult for people to vote is un-American and are intended to punish poor people, people of color, the elderly, and disabled - why? If you can't win playing by the rules, then it's you and your platform - not everyone else's ability to vote."

The Democrats are as usual liars and racist.
They are fighting against voting rights, not for them.
Texas is trying to protect their citizen's right to vote from the Democrat Cult's voter fraud crimes.
The Democrats want to allow mail-in ballot voter fraud crimes and to allow non-citizens to erase the votes of American citizens.
The Democrat Cultists are lying, the Texas election reform laws protect voting rights.
BTW, do Democrats know about Willie's racist song called "Shotgun Willie"?
Maybe the Democrat Cult will let him sing it in their campaign ads.

Texas does not fight for voter rights, It just does what it wants to maintain the balance of power

in 2018 they had another redistricting. People in Texas were pissed off

It went to the Supreme Court with voting and minority rights group challenging the new maps

It was an opportunistically move by Republican state lawmakers which solidified the state to be a republican state.

The last redistrict map in 2013 had to be done by a court because lawmakers were not fair and used it as a way to maintain power.

Why? to protect the rural population who were predominately republican against the big cities where they were more democratic leaning.
