Terrorists

Trump, Vance , ICE, ALEC and cabinet members are terrorists.....absolutely.

I'm no fan of Trump or Vance, but I'm even less of a fan of someone who makes a statement such as this but then does nothing to support it...

Would you care to give it a shot?

Define "terorist" if you have the intelligence. Terrorists infiltrate countries and cause chaos with rapes and murders that terrorize citizens. ICE agents enforce immigration laws.

One man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter....~S~
No!
That's a too common but inaccurate canard, often advanced and supported by persons looking to legitimize crimes they intend to commit, or support.

Speaking from historian's perspective, freedom fighters tend to target police and military of an occupying foreign nation or a repressive regime of their own. They go to lengths to avoid unnecessary injury to innocents or unnecessary property damage. Their intent and focus is to undo the occupation/oppression they are subject to.

Terrorism is an indiscriminate application of force and violence, targeting the innocent as much as the 'guilty' and is intended to shock and frighten rather than directly achieve a political goal. Terrorists have little to no regard for innocent lives harmed/killed or for unrelated property destruction. Terrorist often derive pleasure from the violence and destruction they create.

An example of the difference is shown in a scene from the move "The Great Escape"*.

In this scene one of the escaped POW airmen(played by the late James Colburn) is sitting in a sidewalk cafe, in some French city, having coffee, reading the paper. We see a car drive up and deposit three Nazi officers, who take a table and order a bottle of wine.

Shortly after that one of the waiters goes over to Colburn and tells him he has a phone call. Colburn has a quizzical look on his face, he is a stranger in this town and doesn't know anyone, etc. However the waiter is quite insistent so to humor him Colburn gets up and goes to the back bar where the phone is. As he speaks "Hello ?" into it he notices the two waiters duck down behind the back bar/counter. They nudge him to join them.

Within a couple of seconds we see a sedan race around the corner and stop in front of the cafe. We see the barrel of a machine gun poke out a rear seat window and a blast of bullets is shot into the German officers, killing them. The car speeds away.

As Colburn and the waiters rise up from behind the bar/counter Colburn inquires if they are resistance, which they do have connections with.

This was the action of freedom fighters, targeting the enemy, but doing all they can to save/protect the innocent bystanders, etc.

A terrorist wouldn't care to warn others to get out of the way, line of fire, but would just blast way against foe and friend alike. Or set off a bomb that also is indiscriminate.
