Senator Lindsey Graham has made one thing about this election emphatically clear: He does not like Ted Cruz. Today, he essentially endorsed the man.

It’s not an official endorsement, but Graham has committed himself to fundraising for Cruz. According to an invitation obtained by CNN, Graham is inviting donors to honor and support Cruz, who he calls “a great friend of Israel and the Jewish people.”

Graham also said of Ted Cruz “If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you,” if that’s any indication of how desperate the Republican party is right now.

I know you are an ardent supporter of Ted and although I got turned off his campaign for a variety of reasons I still do respect his knowledge and his devotion to the Constitution.

This bs with Graham is just going to hand Trump all the ammo he needs unless Cruz goes "no thank you".

But I have been lol ing because this primary season has had so many twists and turns and bizarre moments. And this development fits into "bizarre".

Did you know Carly is a McCain girl (was on his team in 2008)? She had tried to run as an outsider as well but when I started digging I found out she was same old same old establishment like the rest of the pack.

That's why both John McCain and Lindsey Graham endorsed her. Now that Carly has endorsed Cruz, Megan McCain has come out for Cruz as well.

I disagree here. Regardless who is the nominee they are going to need to unite the party behind them. Not by kissing the establishments butt but by making them heel.

The establishment needs Ted. They are coming on his terms. As long as he doesn't sell out his principles seeking their support I think its good. We need to unite behind Ted.

Honestly Mac I don't have a clue how the party itself is going to heal. Because if those on Capitol Hill don't understand let alone appreciate the overwhelming movement spearheaded by Trump and Cruz they truly are out of touch.

More so than most of us even thought. But they are validating every thing we have been saying as the "populace" that the elite live inside the beltway and really don't have a clue about their constituents. And as we are finding out they don't even care about their base.
