There's no one coming as back up.
No one. No one.
Parenting is a disaster. Behavior of children is a disaster. Ask any teacher anywhere.
The solutions seem so easy but in reality the solutions are just not there. Basically, parents are also DEI'd. In school however it's called SEL: social-emotional learning. Everything is "feelings" based; kids are accountable for nothing if they have hurt feelings.
Every teacher I know--every one--good, mediocre, outstanding--is either looking to get out or struggling bad
Trumpers don't have the wattage
Yes really. I don't think that my teachers ever taught me that part. You JUST found that out? Really?
I'm sure your public school teachers are at fault that you didn't know it, right? We were too busy "indoctrinating", I'm sure.
We are burning out and quitting in record numbers
Inappropriate and unnecessary. Not something Christians with the right intent would say is a good idea. It's political grandstanding, nothing more. In this context. In church, it's something different.
It doesn't matter....if you took all of Harris' words and put them in Trump's mouth and took all of Trump's words and put them in Harris' mouth they wouldn't even notice.
It's unconstitutional for starters.
Yes really. I don't think that my teachers ever taught me that part.
I went to school from 95 to 08. That was WAY before the indoctrinating age, but like I just told you this isn't what this thread is about. It's about keeping political beliefs out of the classroom. Especially if it's abusive to students.
So then why don't you just quit?
It's better than what could be taught instead.
The left or right?
No it isn't.
When courses are fashioned for the slowest learners of course the average and smarter kids can get bored. My pastor sometimes addressed the kids that were clearly restless during some of his sermons. He told them to pay attention because there was something in it them for them, and that their patience was character building. He affectionately addressed them as the church's 'long-suffering teens'. This helped a lot. Teachers should address the boredom as well, perhaps teaching to the smarter kids and allowing them time to tutor the slower kids. The basics are being taught. Maybe we change how they get taught. Kids get bored sitting in one place for 8 hours every day.
Probably both
That is encouraging but based on your other post(s) everything still is not really okay, yes?
Bullshit.That's not politics.
Oh good, we have a liberal here in favor of teachers getting beat down by kids.
YOU VOTED FOR THAT
Heck, elementary kids are huge these days...
Brown v Board of EducationWe need special schools back. And a lot, LOT more of them.
...
Also....it seems kids aren't "taken out of school" anymore. Read up on violent students and classroom evacuations.
Why do you think I'm up like this at this time of night, unable to sleep?
We are not okay. Our workplace is an unsafe, toxic mess. I told a coworker today it feels "abusive", and it does.
Federal influence is going to be changed. Accreditation is going to be changed. It's already with the states.
That SEL stuff is real. That's being pushed to this day.No one take this hysteria seriously. ^^^
get your tin foil hat off your head and explain. WTF are you talking about? You sound like a crazy personYou know what it is so don't ask questions.
I'm not sure which Schools you are following. Then maybe they should get that sexuality and politics outta their schools and actually start teaching stuff.
Great, get rid of the lousy far left teacher. One teacher freaked out, posted a video threatening Trump voters and then resigned so she could look for a new job.
Not even close to okay. But it's beyond "indoctrination"--something is really wrong with our kids, and the parents aren't helping at all.
I feel like Robert Kennedy Jr is on to something
