Take a seat — history class is in session Why we need the electoral college

I've read these types of defenses of the electoral college before, how noble the electoral college is, how this country is a republic, not a democracy, blah, blah, blah.

What is less clear is why certain states like Wyoming are over-represented with 3 electoral votes, while other states like California are under-represented with only 55 electoral votes. California contains over 30% of the country's population and should be worth nearly 200 electoral votes just by itself. If each state had equal electoral college weight based on their population, then the electoral college wouldn't be such a total scam.

Dems love the electoral college until they lose.

We don't need it. We've won the popular vote virtually every time over the past 30 years.

Yea with felons and illegal aliens voting.

Keep telling yourself that, goober. Of course you have no evidence and your dumb ass never will.

And Hillary probably would have won by more like 5 million if it hadn't been for Repug voter suppression tactics in states like N. Carolina, Arizona, and Wisconsin.
