Systemical Racism

He does have full access to tell the people whatever her feels necessary.

True, but it's kind of hard for him to do that if Trump and his cronies undermine him out of fear he might be more popular.

You don't realize you talk out of both sides of your mouth. On one hand you said he's just saying whatever Trump wants him to say, and then say he cares about people dying. Well if he's here because he cares about people dying, he wouldn't care what Trump's desires are, he'd tell us what he feels is necessary which he's been doing since the start of this thing.

Again, he does what most of us do. Most of us don't get up in the middle of a meeting and tell the boss he's a fucking idiot. We try to use more subtle persuasion to win people over. That's those of us who have held jobs of any importance, anyway.

So he really has two options. Try to keep working with the crazy orange man-baby, or walk off his job, go on CNN and denounce him. The latter might be a lot more satisfying, but frankly, this administration has had a lot of people who've quit in a huff and were forgotten a week later.

It's a no-win situation for all the professionals in government, really, when you have someone so manifestly unfit for the job, but the political establishment is unwilling to admit they made a mistake and remove him.

He's not there for a popularity contest.

Wrong. First off Trump would never fire him. It would have given the left fodder up to the election. Look how long it took him to get rid of Comey even after he found out how Comey stabbed him in the back. Secondly, Dr. Fauci is 70 years old. He's made a ton of money during his career. He left a job that paid 350K a year to work with government.

Fauci is not political. He's respected from both side of the aisle. If he did get fired, he'd make a ton of money writing a book about his experience with the Trump administration. Plus as you said, a frequent guest on the MSM channels.
