Systemic Problem of U. S. Navy Revealed!

He purged almost 200 hundred military leaders.

But, to be fair, that may not be the only problem. We need to wait for a full investigation as their are rumblings there could be cyber hacking that has resulted in a few of these latest incidents.

So wait. 8 years of Obama and we don't have these problems. 6 months of Trump not nominating a secretary of the Navy and we do have them starting up. So we blame the guy that didn't have the problems under his watch?

Wasn't there some article last month about how only 5 of the top 53 jobs in the pentagon had been filled so far by Trump?

Maybe instead of nominating a secretary of the Navy who was a banker in Hong Kong that was now his neighbor, and then not filling the position until 3 weeks ago finally was a bad move?

So Congress slow-walks every Trump nominee and you say it's Trump's fault?

He has had his nominations delayed, and delayed and delayed by Democrats. Every trick in the book has been used. The first withdrew his name, the second it took 2 months for the confirmation to take place. And there was an acting Sec of the Navy during that time period. It wasn't just wallowing in the wind.

Yes, that's true. 8 years of Obama forcing the military to apologize and run and hide, takes a while to recover from.

No he hasn't been overly held up. he chose a buddy as Secretary of the Navy who had no experience with the Navy and couldn't divest his fortunes. The guy finally rescinded his acceptance.

He's got a Republican Senate in office. The problem isn't the 42 days for Trump vs. the 35 for Obama. If that week was the issue then the 10 day difference from Obama to GWB is even more of an issue. The problem is he hasn't nominated people. Last month it was something like 384 of the 564 position for him to nominate had no nomination.

Trump himself has said that in many of those cases we just don't want to fill those positions.

When he nominated venture capitalist Richard Spencer to be secretary of the Navy that wasn't until June. He only just nominated that Raytheon Lobbyist as Secretary of the Army last month after Green and Vinny Viola withdrew.

Obama swore in Mabus March 27th and he was in office May 19. Spencer was June 2nd and confirmed August 1st. 7 day difference. The problem was the 2+ month gap in nominating them.

And yes. The Navy had a stand in as secretary of the Navy. Not the person that Trump felt should run the Navy.

No. The problem isn't the week delay. It's that the majority of his positions to fill haven't even had nominations. It's not that his secretary of the Navy took a week longer to get nominated, it's that Trump wasted time nominating a buddy, and when he backed out, he didn't nominate a secretary of the Navy for over 2 months after Obama nominated his.

You first ignore the fact the Sec of Navy has had a qualified acting officer during this time.

He is very qualified. He was a Marine aviator. He has ties to top tiers in the Marine & Navy through philanthropy and volunteer work for years. He has also been an advisor to New AmericanSecurity, which supplied high level executives to the Obama administration. He even appointed to-
In December Spencer was appointed to be an executive advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations, a Navy official told USNI News. In that role, he advises CNO on future warfare and how to reach out to technology business leaders.

Show he me where they have been buddies?
He is from Wyoming.
And yes, he was held up, the Dems pulled out all the stops to keep it from happening until just a couple of weeks ago.
He had his cabinet positions picked prior to his inauguration. The last wasn't confirmed until Apr 27. A month longer than HW, GW, Clinton, and Obama.

It is widely known Obama did not respect military people whatsoever, and it was obvious the shit stain that is Obama did not have the respect of the military....
The morale of the military was the lowest under Obama than any other president, it takes time to recover from fuck ups like Obama.

What did obama do exactly 2% in austerity cuts (because of the GOP congress ). . Oh the horror !

Maybe you missed Trump shitting all over the military during his campaign.

Righties make shit up .

Military folk don't vote for shit stains like Obama... they can't be tricked by a piece of shit.

Obama got rid of 200 of our best military leaders because they were not his yes men and then he defunded the military.

Instead of training the Navy personal on collision avoidance or whatever they have been receiving stupid worthless diversity training.

Obama did tremendous damage to this country in all areas, especially the military.

Trump has a big job ahead of him to fix what Obama broke.

And that post is stupid, and stupid and stupid. Every excuse in the book, when the reason is simple.

Trump is crippling his agenda by leaving hundreds of jobs unfilled

Trump is crippling his agenda by leaving top jobs unfilled
President Trump has roughly 1,100 top-tier positions to fill across his administration.
So far, he's nominated only 111 of them.
The sluggish pace of getting political appointees on the job is emblematic of a much wider problem across the administration, which experts argue wasn't equipped to kick off a hiring blitz. All told, the president has about 4,000 hires to make, including the 1,100 that require Senate confirmation.

But experts say the Trump administration is also slowing things down.

Insiders cite what they call the "never Trump rule," which screens out prospective nominees who have criticized the president.

"Even if you're a Republican, the administration wants to be sure that you are not a 'never, ever Trumper," said another attorney.

The head Obamabot in charge of the Navy has never operated a motor boat let alone a war ship.
That is what is so dangerous about liberal appointments...they suck! They choose on ideology not experience and qualifications.
